Workshops for Students

ART in the AFTERNOONS

Weekly afternoon workshops suitable for Stage 4 and 5 gifted and talented students, or students who have a special interest in Visual Arts. ART in the AFTERNOONS is a sequential program that aims to develop skills and confidence in student’s artmaking under the guidance of experienced teachers and practising contemporary artists.

Where: Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design

When: Monday 4 -6pm, May 12 - June23

Visual Arts and Sustainability

A series of practical based, skill building workshops for students addressing the cross-curricular priority: Sustainability. Each full day workshop links to the NSW Visual Arts syllabus.

Where: Wollongong City Gallery

When: 9am - 3pm, June 20, 2014

Cost: $50 (+GST) per student including all materials

Workshops for Teachers

Artist Led Workshops

A series of workshops connecting teachers with leading contemporary artists.  Each workshop expands on teacher’s artmaking skills and knowledge of contemporary artist practice. Teachers will work with a visiting artist in the artists area of expertise as they develop their own artworks throughout the day. Workshops are from 9am - 3pm and cost $210 + GST (non Government schools $310 + GST)
