Operation Art Professional Learning

Operation Art is not just about exhibitions. To help support and extend skills in teaching Visual Arts,  Operation Art presents a series of teacher workshops in regional and metropolitan centres.operation art workshop

Operation Art Workshops are Institute accredited for 5 hours.

Teachers will spend a whole day making, creating and learning. Covering three different topic areas, Workshops run from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. All you need to bring is a paint shirt to protect your clothing - all other equipment, materials and lunch are supplied.

Government teachers $210 + (GST) Non Government teachers $310 + (GST)

As part of The Arts Unit’s support of the Department of Education and Communities’ Rural and Remote Education blueprint for action, we are excited to be able to offer a Participation Subsidy of $105 to teachers from rural and remote schools. This financial support is to facilitate engagement of teachers who are accepted into Operation Art, Visual Arts workshops.

Please note: If interest exceeds available funds, allocation of the Participation Subsidy will be prioritised based on remoteness.

Subsidies will be confirmed with acceptance notification.
